L'Augette

L'Augette is a UK-owned guest house offering quality bed and breakfast. Situated in open countryside in a relatively undiscovered part of central France, south of La Châtre, between Châteauroux and Guéret, it is an ideal place to spend a relaxing holiday or to use as a stop off point on the way further south.   Originally a farmhouse built in the nineteenth century, it was completely refurbished by us during 2002 to provide five luxurious new guest rooms, all with private bathrooms. Unlimited complimentary tea/coffee making facilities are also provided as well as hairdriers and clothes irons on request.  Scroll down and take a small tour of some of the accommodation by clicking on the thumbnail pictures below.

L'Augette has a spacious garden and in the summer you can just relax and soak up the sun.

   L'Augette is biker friendly (one of the owners is a biker), and has plenty of forecourt parking space.

We also have secured locakable garage space to park motorcycles.
